JFK Library and Museum

The John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum is located in Boston, Massachusetts. Student groups can participate in educational programs and also explore interesting exhibits. The library houses the largest display of Ernest Hemingway archive materials. Students of all ages will enjoy the educational programs offered. Featured programs include the following: Americans in Space, Leaders in the Struggle for Civil Rights, Picture Book Biographies of John and Jacquelin Kennedy, The Presidential Press Office, 1963: The Struggle for Civil Rights, and Interactive Exhibits. During the Presidential Press Office Program, the students will learn how press secretary Pierre Salinger was a help to JFK. The program also deals with what occurred at a press conference. The exhibits at the museum are full of information for your student group to explore. Exhibits include: Campaign Trail, The Briefing Room, The Space Race, The Oval Office, and The Kennedy Family. The Briefing Room exhibit contains video samples of responses from John From. Kennedy. There are documents and other exhibits in the room.
