Tower of the Americas

When you take your students to Tower the Americas, they get both a learning experience of Texas and the best view of it as well. This tower was built in 1968 and stands 750 feet tall. This has been one of San Antonio’s most popular attractions for over 40 years. School groups that visit Tower of the Americas have a variety of options to choose from when they visit. Whether you just wanted to view the observation deck for a few hours, or stay the whole morning or afternoon. You group is guaranteed to have a fun and educational experience. Your visit to Tower of the Americas won’t be complete until you have stopped at the Flags over Texas Observation Level. This offers a fantastic view of the city below you. There are photographs provided around the room to help your students identify certain land marks around them. This is also the spot where you students will learn about the six flags that at one point flew over Texas. After you trip to the observation areas, take you group over to the 4-D Theatre Ride, The Skies Over Texas. This exciting ride will give your school group the feel that they are actually flying over the Lone Star State. They will be able to hear, see, feel, and even smell the action that seems to be going on around them.
