Clark Atlanta College

Graduating student groups planning their Peach State holiday and pondering higher-education options would be well-served by a visit to this fine, historically black, United Methodist Church-related, private, coeducational and residential institution, established in 1988 with the consolidation of Clark College (founded in 1869) and Atlanta University (founded in 1865). Clark Atlanta University is a member of the United Negro College Fund and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral Degrees. Campus tours are designed to provide prospective students with exposure to Clark Atlanta University; visitors will have a stellar opportunity to interact with faculty and students and acquaint themselves with programs and activities. Tours begin with an information session; post-presentation, guests embark on their campus tour led by an Admissions Student Ambassador. Once they’ve made the circuit, graduating seniors interested in attending Clark Atlanta University will be afforded the opportunity to speak with an Enrollment Management Officer. Tours are conducted Monday-Friday and are suspended for inclement weather, on weekends, federal holidays, spring break, and the months of August and December; on-campus dining arrangements may be made by reservation.
