The group may also want to take a hike or bike on trails at Stonehouse Stables and Lakewood Trails. If your students enjoy fun adventures, you can visit Go Ape Treetop Adventure. Go-Karts Plus is where students can race each other on the go-karts. Williamsburg also hosts several fun festivals and other special events during the year. On your trip, you may want to visit some of the famous historical attractions in Williamsburg. You can visit Colonial Williamsburg which is where your group will get to experience what it was like before and during the Revolutionary War. You can explore historic homes, exhibition sites, and art museums. You will meet shopkeepers, townspeople, and political figures from the time of the war. Your group may also want to explore Historic Jamestowne which served as the 17th century capital of Virginia. The students can explore the archeology at James Fort as part of the experience. Berkeley Plantation is located on the James River and is the birthplace of President William Henry Harrison.
