Museum of Science & Omni Theater

The Museum of Science & Omni Theater is located in Boston, Massachusetts. Students of all ages will enjoy the entertainment and education that is offered at the location. The museum contains the following features: exhibits, planetarium shows, live presentations, IMAX films, and other special activities. The student group can also shop in the Museum Store. The exhibits at the Museum of Science are fun and interesting. Featured exhibits include the following: A Bird’s World, Behind the X-Ray, the Butterfly Garden, Catching the Wind, Cosmic Light, and the Discovery Center. When the students visit the Discovery Center, they will get the opportunity to touch a real fossil and see live animals up close. During your student group visit, you can see one of the IMAX films in the Museum’s Omni Theater. Featured films include: Grand Canyon Adventure: River at Risk, Pandas: The Journey Home, and Jerusalem. In the film about Jerusalem, the students will learn about the city’s historical, artistic, and spiritual connections. The film discusses how these things were important to many cultures. There are live presentations given at the museum to student groups. Featured presentations include the following: Electricity, Afternoon Report, Lightning, and the Live Animal Presentation. The Electricity presentation features high-voltage demonstrations. The group will uncover connections between electric and magnetic forces.
