Catalina Island

During your school trip to the Los Angeles area, your student group should spend some time exploring Catalina Island. The group can take part in land and water activities, eat delicious food, and enjoy the breathtaking views at the beach. The island is a great place to relax and spend a day in paradise while exploring activities. There are a variety of entertainment attractions for your student group to explore. You can do things such as enjoy scuba diving, fish, take a hike, bike, go snorkeling, and explore fascinating shops and galleries. The students can also take various tours as part of the island experience. One of the tours offered is known as the Zip Line Eco Tour which is Catalina’s newest attraction. During the experience, the students will propel 500 feet through Descanso Canyon. The tour is close to three quarters of a mile long. There are a total of five zip lines. Students can also take ghost tours and Catalina Food Tasting Tours. Catalina Island offers several fun water adventures for the students to enjoy. One of the options is known as the Sea Trek. The students will have the opportunity to experience the exploration of the underwater world. The group will wear helmets that are filled with compressed air supplied from the surface and walk along a pathway on the bottom of the ocean. The group will have an eye-popping experience as you view fish and kelp along the way. Students can also experience other activities such as Glass Bottom Boat Tours, Coastal Eco Tours, Ocean Rafting, and Stand Up Paddleboarding.
