The Metropolitan is located on Fifth Avenue and became home to pieces from the Stone Age up to Modern Day in February of 1872. These works of art came to the museum from all over the world and now allow people to view art in a whole new way.
For the younger children; an exhibit called Modern Art is the perfect interactive experience. Their job is to help a space man learn about our world through modern day art.
There is also a great place exhibit called Red Studio that has great videos and podcasts for the teenagers in your group.
This museum allows anyone to learn about new cultures and discover something new about their own history as well.
