National Law Enforcement Memorial

National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial

Taken By: Adam Fagen

This memorial is located at Judiciary Square. Probably the favorite site, during spring, would be the 14,000 daffodils that bloom here. Down a tree-lined path, you will find the memorial wall that holds names of more than 17,500 law enforcement officers that have fallen during their service.

It started in 1792 and new names are added every year in a candlelight vigil during the National Police Week.
